Cookie Policy

Last updated: September 18, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Focus Jumps (“we,” “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on focusjumps.com. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage, work in a comparable way. They help a site remember information between pages or visits.

What we use

We keep things minimal. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell or share your data for advertising.

  • Strictly necessary. WordPress sets login cookies (such as wordpress_logged_in_*) only for site administrators. Visitors who do not log in do not receive them.
  • Preferences (local storage). If you close our “free gear” message, we store a note in your browser (fj_free_gear_seen) so we don’t show it again for a week. This never leaves your device.
  • Security. Our newsletter form uses a temporary security token and a short-lived, anonymous rate limit to block spam.

Third-party content

Images and video clips on our homepage are hosted on our own server. When you click a link to Instagram or to a partner brand, you leave our site, and that site’s own cookie policy applies.

Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Because we only use essential and preference storage, blocking them will not stop you from browsing the site; the free gear message may simply appear again.

Changes

If we start using new types of cookies, such as analytics, we will update this page and, where required by law, ask for your consent first.
